On Wednesday 7 September, we visited ORPERKIN (Recovery Work for Street Children in Kinshasa). We were welcomed by Father Ange Albert, of the Congregation of the "Service of the Divine Word", Director General of ORPERKIN, and the members of his Board of Administration including Sister Mariette, "Missionary of the White Fathers".
At the end of our exchanges, orPERKIN, through the knowledge of Sister Mariette, proposed two volunteers: Messrs. Jean Marie LUKUKA and Claude MUNGANGA.
During the election of the new committee of our association of the Kinshasa branch, Jean Marie was elected President, and Claude, In charge of public relations.
Let us hope that with this reinforcement, the new committee can bear even more fruit.
