Welcome to the website of the SOS Love-Solidarity-Friends of The Children of Congo Association.
SOS Amour-Solidarité is a philanthropic association, recognized as a public utility by Greek law in 2007.
It was founded on the initiative of the Chrissalis family who lived for many years in Congo Kinshasa.
The Association aims to support the education of underprivileged children and to provide comfort to neglected elderly people in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The members of the Athens Committee, all volunteers, take charge of the fundraising by organising charitable activities.
The Kinshasa Committee ensures that the funds sent serve exclusively on the Association's objectives of supporting and monitoring each of our protégés and accompanying the elderly.
A dozen students benefit from sponsorship. The charity of the godparents ensure their schooling throughout the year. Our work is also supported by the generosity of friends in the form of donations.
At a time when the Covid health crisis was severely haken, the whole world was paralyzed. Unfortunately, this situation also has an impact on our Association, which, since last March, has been unable to organise activities and therefore to raise funds. We appeal to the generosity of all of you so that our charity, for the benefit of Congo's children and the elderly, can continue.
Let us be strong and hope that the good weather will return.
